Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs died yesterday. I feel the sadness but struggle for the words to express it. He was bigger than life to me. He was a superstar in jeans and a black turtleneck. His low key presentations inspired me, the twinkle in his eye motivated me. I love that he spoke about technology in every day terms. I loved that he combined technology with style and quality and excellence. I love that he managed every detail in his company because he knew what he wanted and was determined to see it through every process making sure that the end result was everything he dreamed it could be. I love that he persevered while his health suffered, that he didn’t give in to it. I love his mix of genius, creativity and perception that gave him such insight into what the public wants from technology. And I love that he created the little Mac SE that found it’s way into my heart every time I turned it on. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make work a joy each and every day.
